Kimulet Winzer

Co-Founder

Kimulet Winzer has over 30 years of leadership experience and is Diversity and Inclusion certified.  She has been learning and leading through participation in various programs and career journeys both professionally and through volunteer efforts.  She lead the YMCA’s Achiever’s Steering Committee focused on teen youth and participated in the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Attorney’s Teaching Tolerance program through the Arizona Black Lawyers' Association.

She partnered with diverse groups of stakeholders including; healthcare providers, advocates, regulators, payor plans, attorneys, vendors, lobbyists, community, church and healthcare leaders on a myriad of operational remediations, innovations and core compliance program development, implementations and training. 

​

Kimulet served in an executive leadership role with UnitedHealthcare as compliance director for the Medicaid program.  Also, she has experience in government programs where she led and directed the resolution of complaints, creation of cultural competency programs, provided training and delivery of applicable content and compliance programs.  She has provided many years of thought leadership to private, not-for-profit, organizations in the public policy arena.

Additionally, Kimulet utilizes her time volunteering with the State of Arizona’s early childhood development program where the regional council oversees the administration of $20 million through strategy development, vendor selection and overseeing vendor performance. She is a Flinn-Brown Civic Leadership Fellow and a lifetime member of Arizona Town Hall.  She earned her JD from Southern University Law Center, her BS in Justice Studies from Arizona State University and a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.
