Wendella Howell-Bell has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management and 30+years of leadership experience in the government and commercial health care industry. 

 

Wendella has held leadership positions is several Fortune 500 companies, most recently with UnitedHealthCare, and with Cigna, Aetna and HealthPartners.  She has also held leadership positions in Government healthcare organizations including AHCCCS, TriWest, Arizona Department of Economic Security and Maricopa County Health Plan.  Wendella has experience in the areas of Claims, Provider Relations, Network Development, Contracting and Membership. 

 

All of Ms. Howell-Bell’s positions required leadership and management of multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural relationships at all levels of each organization. Specific skills required over her career include personnel management, project management and operations experience with strong operational assessment and business process re-engineering skills.
