Yolanda Byrd has over 26 years in the automotive manufacturing and finance industries with American Honda Motor Corporation (AHM). She has proven success at building diverse teams and leveraging the strength of others to maximize productivity and increase efficiencies. She accomplished this through convening and developing individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Her skill-set includes relationship building, strategic planning, coaching, training and supporting internal and external stakeholders. Her analytical skills provide insight for Business to Business and Business to Consumer clients, which have increased sales, decreased expenses and incrementally improved customer service levels. Yolanda is passionate about analyzing and reconciling data to match the reality of diverse needs. She consulted Honda and Acura dealership business owners to evaluate whether all customer touchpoints were aligned with their inclusionary core values in the marketplace. During her tenure at AHM she played a key role in a Brand Management project.

Furthermore, Yolanda has leadership experience interacting humanely with people who are in distress, such as: disaster victims and hospice patients. She traveled extensively within rural and urban America consulting businesses with AHM as well as voluntarily supporting The American Red Cross in leadership roles. Other volunteer experiences that sharpened her keen eye for inclusion, includes: Mentor Foster Care Youth, Ronald McDonald House, George Mark House and Elder Help of San Diego. Yolanda has relocated and deployed to various regions within the United States; thereby observing and learning the intricacies of numerous cultures and sub-cultures. She earned her Master of Business Administration degree with a Global Innovator option from California State University East Bay.
