A Safe Environment

Can we discuss difficult and emotionally charged topics without fear of judgement and/or repercussions? How do you discuss cultural differences within your social circle? Is that environment “safe” enough to speak your true beliefs? Also, is that social circle diverse enough such that you can expect different opinions?
Sometimes our “safe” environment(s) are comprised of people who are similar to ourselves; their experiences may mirror ours because, perhaps, our socio-economic circles are similar. So, how do we learn about different cultures outside of the ones we participate in on a regular basis?
These are some of the questions we should consider when we purposefully seek understanding of unconscious biases?
At Diverse Humanity Solutions, we can facilitate and participate in these unapologetic discussions. Contact us if you would like to contribute to candid and constructive conversations: www.diversehumanitysolutions.com
